Gatsby Inspired Engagement

When Ally told me she wanted a 1920s styled shoot for her engagement photos, I had a feeling this was going to be fun.

Having not met Ally and Daniel before their shoot, I was pleasantly surprised with their amazing energy, laid back attitude, and super sweet love for each other. Not to mention that beers may or may not have been poured into glass jars to look like iced tea on the street.

Funnest. Couple. Ever. I don’t even care that funnest isn’t a word.

This was one of the hottest days we’ve had this year. None of us wanted to stay inside. As soon as the girl with the big eyes was all did up, we went for a photographic stroll through the Pearl District.

Our final destination was Tanner Springs Park — a perfect backdrop with it’s art deco vs. nature design fusion.

They are truly a beautiful couple and I wish them all the luck in the world in their future together (getting hitched June 8!!).
